About Opportunity

The internationally recognized Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize 2025, the UK’s leading open exhibition dedicated to drawing, is now accepting entries. Artists and drawing practitioners worldwide are invited to submit up to three works for consideration by a distinguished Selection Panel. Outstanding submissions will be awarded a total of £27,000. The exhibition will be open to the public at Trinity Buoy Wharf in London from 9 to 21 October 2025, with an Exhibition Awards Ceremony taking place on 8 October. All selected artists will be invited to attend, and a fully illustrated publication will accompany the exhibition.

About Organizer

The Trinity Buoy Wharf Drawing Prize, established in 1994 by artist and Professor Anita Taylor, is the UK's leading annual open exhibition dedicated to contemporary drawing. Its mission is to celebrate and promote excellence in drawing practice, providing a platform for artists at all stages of their careers. The prize showcases a diverse range of works, reflecting the breadth and vitality of drawing today. Supported by the Trinity Buoy Wharf Trust since 2018, the exhibition continues to champion drawing as a fundamental discipline in contemporary art.

  • First Prize - £8,000

  • Second Prize - £5,000

  • Student Award - £2,000

  • Evelyn Williams Drawing Award - £10,000

  • Only drawings made since January 2024 are eligible for entry

  • Artists are self responsible for the artworks transportation
