About Opportunity

The internationally recognized Sunny Art Center is currently accepting applications from contemporary artists for its 2024 Sunny Art Prize. Various art mediums, including 2D and 3D, such as painting, sculpture, digital art, printmaking, photography, graphic art, mixed media, and experimental or installation works, on any topics are welcome for submission. The organization's selection committee will choose the best artworks’ authors for the shortlist and provide them with the opportunity to win funding for the Artists Residency Program in China and to participate in a group exhibition showcase in London.

Eligibility:

  • Both emerging and professional contemporary artists, over the age of 18, from all over the world can participate

Participation fee:

  • The artwork  submission fee is £25/one artwork


Award/prize: 

  • Sunny Art Prize:

    • First Place - £3,000

    • Second Place - £2,000

    • Third Place - £1,000

  • Shortlisted artists will have the opportunity to showcase at group exhibition in Sunny Art Centre, London

  • One-month Artist Residency funding in China for prize-winning artists


Application requirements:

  • CV/portfolio

  • Artist statement 

  • Artwork’s images and description 

  • All 2D work, such as painting, drawing, and projected videos must be 120x120cm in size max

  • All three-dimensional work, including sculptures, ceramics, and mixed media artworks, must be 80x80x80cm max in size
