About Opportunity
The Sawtooth School for Visual Art ("Sawtooth") has announced a call for its annual 2024-25 Artists in Residency Program, welcoming international ceramic and visual artists. The program is designed to enhance the creative, intellectual, professional, and personal growth of emerging studio artists. The residency program gives artists possibility to concentrate on their work, experiment with new concepts and techniques, and elevate their artistic practice. Selected artists are required to attend monthly residency meetings and to work on contemporary art projects, which will be showcased at the end of residency program. Selection of residents is conducted by the directors of the studio together with the invited jury. The selection criteria are: excellence and commitment, artistic style, project idea. The Sawtooth School for Visual Art will provide resident artists with a studio apartment and working art space.
