About Opportunity

The internationally recognized SAC International Curatorial Residency Program 2026, hosted by Barcelona’s Sant Andreu Contemporani in collaboration with Fabra i Coats – Fàbrica de Creació de Barcelona, is open to international curators. This open call invites proposals from candidates interested in serving on the jury of the 2026 Miquel Casablancas Prize for the Visual Arts, followed by the development of a curatorial project featuring a selection of Catalan artists drawn from the prize applicants. The resulting exhibition must be presented either in the curator’s country of residence or at another international venue willing to host it. An international selection committee will review applications based on the curator’s background and portfolio to identify the strongest candidate, who will receive €2,000 to cover jurying expenses as well as exhibition management and production costs.
