About Opportunity

The 167th edition of the RPS International Photography Exhibition is now open for submissions from emerging, amateur, and professional photographers or image-makers. This year’s exhibition has an open theme, welcoming all subjects, styles, and approaches — including alternative photographic processes and experimental works. An international selection committee will review the submissions and announce winners across several categories, awarding cash prizes and exhibition opportunities.

About Organizer

The International Photography Exhibition (IPE) hosted by the Royal Photographic Society was first held in 1854, making it the longest-running contemporary photography exhibition in the world. Its mission is to celebrate and disseminate the art and practice of photography by offering an annual open-call platform. Through touring exhibitions and prize awards, the IPE seeks to widen public access to photography, foster creative innovation and connect diverse image-makers with international audiences.
The IPE offers a distinctive opportunity to showcase work in a Royal Photographic Society group touring exhibition across various venues nationwide, accompanied by a prize fund designed to support the development of future photographic projects.
