About Opportunity
The Global RCE Service Centre at the United Nations University Institute for the Advanced Study of Sustainability (UNU-IAS), in partnership with UNESCO invites artists from all over the world under the age of 35 to submit their original works for the art competition - The RCE Youth Art Challenge: From Waste to Art. The aim of this challenge is to demonstrate how local communities are working to achieve sustainable consumption and production. Any form of art, such as: paintings, drawings, photographs, sketches, digital art, sculptures, handicrafts, murals, and more, are accepted. Submissions that incorporate waste from the local area (such as paper, plastic, and e-waste) are especially welcomed. The jury will select the best artworks, which will be presented in The Global RCE Service Centre, in Japan.
