About Opportunity
The internationally recognized Pollock-Krasner Foundation accepts applications year-round from visual artists, including painters, sculptors, and artists who work on paper, such as printmakers. Applicants are required to submit a portfolio, cover letter, and grant proposal. The Foundation reviews expenses related to both the artist's professional work and personal needs, with grants awarded up to $50,000. The grant amount is based on the artist’s individual circumstances. The Foundation does not accept applications from commercial artists, graphic designers, video or performance artists, filmmakers, or craftspeople, and it does not provide funding for students or academic studies.
About Organizer
The Pollock-Krasner Foundation, established in 1985, has been supporting working artists worldwide for over three decades. To date, the Foundation has awarded more than 5,100 grants to professional artists and organizations across 80 countries. It provides financial assistance to visual artists, helping them create new work, purchase supplies, rent studio space, prepare for exhibitions, attend residencies, and cover living expenses.
