About Opportunity

The internationally recognized MSU Museum’s CoLab Studio invites artists, scholars, and creators from around the world to submit proposals for Singularity, an upcoming exhibition and public programming series. This initiative will explore the potential realities of a future where artificial intelligence matches or surpasses human intelligence. Through Singularity, CoLab Studio aims to foster critical dialogue and creative inquiry into how the rapid advancement of AI could transform life on a global scale. Submissions are encouraged from individuals or collectives working across a wide range of disciplines—including computer and data science, communications, human-computer interaction, art, psychology, biology, music—as well as interdisciplinary and emerging fields. Proposals may reflect completed work or concepts in development, and can include artworks, digital interventions, research projects, virtual games, or data visualizations. Chosen projects will be awarded up to $3,000 in funding to assist with production, shipping, and related expenses.
