About Opportunity

The European Investment Bank (EIB) Institute announces the 2025 edition of its Artists Development Programme (ADP). Organized in collaboration with the Cité internationale des arts (Paris) and neimënster (Neumünster Abbey Heritage Site for Culture) in Luxembourg, the program is seeking one visual artist under the age of 35 from EU Member States to explore the theme: “Art and Development”. The ADP provides emerging visual artists from Europe with a distinctive three-month residency opportunity. Participants can improve their skills, produce new work, and gain mentorship from esteemed professionals. For the 2025 program, Italian artist Tatiana Trouvé and art critic/professor Christophe Kihm will mentor the residents. The residency program will take place over three months: two months (September–October) at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, followed by one month (November) at Neimënster in Luxembourg. An international jury will select the candidate and cover their accommodation and production costs.

About Organizer

The EIB Institute was established as part of the EIB Group (comprising the European Investment Bank and the European Investment Fund) to foster and support social, artistic, cultural, and academic initiatives in collaboration with European stakeholders and the broader public. Launched in 2013, the Artists Development Programme (ADP) focuses on supporting emerging artists.
