About Opportunity

The Eliza Moore Fellowship for Artistic Excellence, organized by the internationally recognized Oak Spring Garden Foundation (OSGF), invites applications from outstanding early-career artists creating new work that engages with plants, gardens, or landscapes in a broad context. This opportunity is open to visual artists, writers, dancers, and musicians. The Fellowship includes a $10,000 individual grant and a required residency of 2 to 5 weeks at Oak Spring in Virginia, USA. OSGF seeks to support an exceptional artist whose work demonstrates significant potential to deepen our understanding of the natural world and humanity’s relationship to it. Fellows are chosen through a rigorous multi-stage selection process involving OSGF staff, alumni, and external jurors.
