About Opportunity
The Burlington Contemporary Art Writing Prize aims to identify exceptional contemporary art writers.
About Organizer
The Burlington Magazine was founded in 1903. The platform is designed to encourage aspiring writers, the Prize promotes clear, concise and well-structured writing that is able to navigate sophisticated ideas without recourse to over-complex language. Magazine has always considered the art of the present to be as worthy of study as the art of the past.
Details
Who can participate: Everyone can participate and applicants are not restricted by age.
Location: Online
Application Details: required documentation:
- Participants should publish no more than six exhibition reviews in print or online
- No more than 1,000 words in length with up to three low-resolution images.
- The submitted review must be written in English
Applicants should send completed submission forms to: editorial@burlington.org.uk.
Prize/Award:
- The prize is £1,000,
- Winners' reviews will be published on the Burlington Contemporary platform
