Its Artist in Residence Program, established in 2001 in partnership with Parks Canada, invites artists from various disciplines to stay for 4-12 weeks, encouraging creative experimentation and public engagement. KIAC's mission is to enrich community life through the arts and promote diverse voices in the cultural landscape of the Yukon.

Professional, established and emerging visual, media or interdisciplinary artists, as well as curators, from all over the world can apply for this residency
