About Opportunity
The Art House (TAH) and the Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) invite proposals from artists living and working outside the UK for a two-month, fully supported residency program at TAH’s Art Studios in Wakefield, UK. This opportunity is designed to support the professional development of two international artists who have not previously worked or exhibited in the UK. Proposals are welcome from artists working across a wide range of contemporary visual art forms, including photography, new media, fine art, moving image, sculpture, live art, crafts, design, architecture, site-specific works, socially engaged projects, and interdisciplinary practices. The residency will take place from May to July 2025.
About Organizer
The Art House (TAH) was established in 1994 by a diverse group of artists, including the pioneering artist Patricia Sutcliffe, with the aim of promoting equality of access and increasing diversity within contemporary visual arts practice.
The Royal Over-Seas League (ROSL) is a not-for-profit institution founded in 1910 by Sir Evelyn Wrench, dedicated to promoting international friendship and understanding through social, musical, artistic, and welfare activities.
