About Opportunity

The Spain-based international organization, the BETA PUBLICA Association, in collaboration with the Madrid en Danza Festival, announces the XI EDITION of the BETA PUBLICA International Choreographic Showcase, which will be held in Madrid, Spain, on May 13th-14th, 2024. All contemporary choreographers and creators from across the globe are invited to participate in the showcase. All choreographies presented must be original compositions or innovative adaptations of contemporary styles, tailored for performance on a traditional stage setting. From the applications submitted, a maximum of 6 choreographies will be selected by the selection committee, based on their creative solidity, originality, and the maturity of the choreographic work. Each choreography will be presented on both days of the Showcase. The International Choreographic Showcase BETA PUBLICA is not a competition but an integrated project supporting choreographic creation, and therefore, there are no prizes, but selected creators will receive the social media promotion (video and photographs) and €300 for living expenses.
