About Opportunity

The San Antonio Museum of Art is looking for applications at  Andrew W.  Melon Foundation-funded two-year postdoctoral scholarship. Participants will get the chance to complete a research project and publication in one of the San Antonio Museum of Art's collection sections while in San Antonio. Applicants must be actively involved in the Museum Curators Department's operations and work closely with the team mentor and personnel from other departments.

About Organizer

The San Antonio Museum of Art is located on the banks of the Riverwalk Museum Reach in a historic brewery. The museum's permanent holdings include Egyptian, Greek, and Roman antiquities, Asian art, Latin American art, contemporary art, and American painting.

Who can Participate:  

The competition is open to those who have been awarded the degree of Doctor since September 2015 or will receive this degree by June 30, 2022.
