About Opportunity

Applicants with experience in social activism related to human rights and climate change are eligible to participate in the ArtsLink International Fellowship Program. The organization, through its 3-year residency program, seeks to encourage artists and art leaders whose work serves to raise people’s awareness of existing social problems and challenge their active involvement.

Who can Participate:

Applicants must be citizens of one of the following countries and regions: Afghanistan, Albania, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Belarus, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Egypt, Estonia, Georgia, Hungary, Israel, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Moldova, Mongolia, Montenegro, North Macedonia, Palestine, Poland, Romania, Russia, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkey, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, Uzbekistan.

 

The applicant is required to have English language skills to be able to live independently in the US.

Undergraduate students, non-professionals and researchers are not eligible to participate in the competition.

Artists/curators wishing to obtain a scholarship must be affiliated with a non-profit arts organization or work as individual independent art professionals.

Prize/Award: 

Residents participating in the program will receive royalties to reimburse their visa, travel and living expenses in the US. They will also receive 50% co-financing for project production costs.
