About Opportunity

Artists from all over the globe will be able to visit Leipzig and work in a 465 m2 contemporary studio as part of the International Residence Program. The project's goal is to provide participants with the chance to build a new approach and cooperate through an experimental strategy. The initiative will allow the program's 12 foreign and 2 local artists to engage with one another and begin a dialogue that will last beyond the program's completion. During the program, two exhibitions are planned: one in the middle and one in the end. The displays will introduce the participants and their work to a large audience in Leipzig.

About Organizer

Through its international residency program, Project PILOTENKUECHE invites artists from all over the globe and provides them with 465 m2 of workspace to produce their own projects and works in three months.

The project's goal is to be translucent to the local art space and to supply the fundamental environment and necessities required for artists' work.
