About Opportunity
The internationally recognized Rencontres d'Arles has announced the new edition of its Curatorial Research Fellowship Program, welcoming experienced curators from around the world, either individually or in groups. This program aims to support curators in the development of a photographic project through two key phases: research and exhibition production. A €5,000 grant is provided to cover research expenses, with the curator required to submit an approved budget and timeline, and present a feasibility report to the artistic direction after six months. If approved, the project will advance to the production phase, receiving up to €15,000 in funding. This support covers the loan and transportation of works, production materials (such as printing and framing), insurance, and participation in the festival’s opening week.
