About Opportunity

In collaboration with the Asia Pacific Artistic Research Network (APARN), the PRAKSIS Residency program invites artists, cultural practitioners, performers, critics, and researchers from around the world to explore sustainability, challenge colonial knowledge systems, and develop community-centered practices to address a planet in crisis. The Climate and Coloniality residency will take place from 12 August to 11 September 2025 in Oslo, Norway. The program includes daily group meetings, readings, discussions, site visits in Oslo, networking events, communal meals, and dedicated time for independent research and reflection. During the first week, participants will take part in PRAKSIS’s signature Meet the Residents event. Residents will be selected by an international committee based on how their artistic practices engage with the residency theme. Selected participants will receive a stipend of 10,000 NOK.
