About Opportunity

The internationally recognized organization Circostrada is accepting project proposals for its 2025 Mentorship Program - Bounce from contemporary circus and outdoor arts professionals, who are seeking to enhance their creative, collaborative, and business skills while critically reflecting on fair practices and working conditions in their professional environment. The international selection committee will select up to five artists who must attend the kick-off event on May 26-27 as part of FRESH STREET at the Out There Arts Festival in Great Yarmouth, UK. They will also be required to participate in the wrap-up session during the Circostrada Annual General Meeting in June 2026 in Sibiu, Romania.

About Organizer

Circostrada is a European network dedicated to contemporary circus and outdoor arts, established in 2003 to strengthen these sectors and enhance their recognition globally. Serving as a key partner for its members, it also plays a vital role in connecting with culture departments across European institutions.

Details

 

Example of contemporary circus and outdoor arts proposals includes:

  • Production of a festival programming; 

  • Editorial projects (print and digital); 

  • Development of a cultural centre programming; 

  • Production of academic events (laboratories, symposiums, hackathons, etc.); 

  • Development and production of residencies. 


Eligibility:

  • Professionals from the contemporary circus and outdoor arts disciplines with four to ten years of professional experience, residing in Creative Europe-eligible countries can apply for this mentorship program
