About Opportunity

The international Venice-based art gallery, No Title Gallery with the collaboration Crea Cantieri del Contemporaneo Venezia is launching a competition for artists. The aim of the competition is to promote high-quality contemporary art. The competition is open to diverse spectrum of artistic mediums, including Painting and Graphics, Sculpture and Installation, Photography, Video, Performance, Land Art, and Site-Specific Projects. Artworks will be chosen based on following standards: excellence, innovation, authenticity, and contemporaneity. The competition is open to all subjects, - technical approach, or artistic style. The chosen artwork will be presented at the spaces of Crea Cantieri del Contemporaneo Venezia from February 17 to February 29, 2024, curated by the CREA curators, accompanied by a catalog, involving the 30 finalist works.

About Organizer

CREA Cantieri del Contemporaneo is the One Contemporary Art Association’s project that was launched in 2016 in Venice, Italy. Over these years the organisation expanded its collaborations with local artists.
The international Venice-based art gallery, No Title Gallery was established with the purpose of collaborating with young emerging and established artists to organize exhibitions and events of varying durations both nationally and internationally.

The selection process for the 30 finalist works will be categorized as follows: 

  • Painting and Graphics (6 finalists), 

  • Sculpture and Installation (6 finalists), 

  • Photography (5 finalists), 

  • Video and Performance, New Technologies (5 finalists), 

  • Land Art (3 finalists).

 

Eligibility:

  • Participation is open to all artists, whether individually or in collectives, ranging in age from 18 to 80, from any part of the world.

Project/event location:

  • Venice, Italy

Participation fee:

  • The participation fee is €50 for artists and €30 for students

Award/prize: 

  • Cash Prize - €2500 

  • The exhibition with the support of  Marina Bastianello Gallery, Spazio SV - San Vidal Exhibition Center, CREA Cantiere del Contemporaneo and etc.
