New Art Exchange 2025 Exhibition is open for all international artists

The internationally renowned New Art Exchange (NAE) is accepting artworks for its annual art exhibition from both international and UK-based artists, curators, writers, designers, architects, and activists—whether applying individually or as part of a collective. This opportunity is open to practitioners working in any medium who are pushing the boundaries of contemporary visual art and engaging with powerful, socially relevant ideas that reflect the modern world. In line with NAE’s mission to challenge structural inequalities within the arts, this opportunity is exclusively available to artists and creatives who identify as being from the Global Ethnic Majority. Applicants must first submit an Expression of Interest, after which a shortlist of candidates will be selected and invited to submit a more detailed proposal in October 2025. Successful projects will be awarded a total budget of £25,000 to support the development and delivery of their exhibition at NAE. This funding will cover all associated costs, including artist fees, materials, equipment, installation, marketing, and the production of new work. Final budget allocations will be agreed upon in collaboration with NAE.

Based in Nottingham, NAE is a leading cultural institution and the largest gallery in the UK dedicated to showcasing contemporary visual art by artists from the Global Ethnic Majority.
