About Opportunity

The internationally recognized Jan Michalski Foundation launches a new call for its 2025 Writers Residency Program, open to both emerging and professional international writers. This year, priority is given to writers and translators, but the program is also open to other disciplines, provided literature is at the heart of the project. Residencies can last from two weeks to three months, depending on the project's requirements, and can be undertaken individually or in pairs. Applications will be evaluated based on the literary quality of the project, the alignment between the project and the requested length of stay, and the professional background of the candidate.

About Organizer

The Jan Michalski Foundation was launched in 2004 by Vera Michalski-Hoffmann, as a place dedicated to writing and literature. Foundation's writing residency program aims to create a supportive environment for literary creation and assist individuals dedicated to the written word.
