About Opportunity

Asia’s leading sustainable light festival, i Light Singapore, invites international and local artists, architects, designers from various fields (such as lighting, product, and industrial design), and multimedia specialists to participate in its 11th edition and showcase their light art installations at Marina Bay, Singapore, from 30th May to 22nd June 2025. Applicants are required to submit their project proposals and artwork production budgets. The selection committee will choose the artists and provide each with 18,000 SGD to cover the artist fee, logistics expenses, and the shipping and installation of artworks.

About Organizer

i Light Singapore, Asia’s leading sustainable light festival, was launched in 2010 at Marina Bay, Singapore. The festival features light art installations by both Singaporean and international artists. These artworks are created using energy-efficient lighting and environmentally-friendly materials, aiming to inspire festival visitors to embrace sustainable practices.

Eligibility:

  • Both professional and emerging artists, architects, designers of various specialties and, multimedia specialists from all over the world can participate in this light festival

Award/prize: 

  • Festival provides 18,000 SGD ($13,750) for each artists that includes artists fee, production, design and logistic expenses, artworks shipping and installation
