About Opportunity
The international organization, HCCC - Houston Center for Contemporary Craft, is accepting applications for its 2024 residency program. The call is open to all international emerging, mid-career, and established artists working in all craft media, including clay, fiber, glass, metal, wood, and mixed media. The selection committee will choose 5-10 artists for the residency program who will receive working art studio space, a monthly allowans , and the opportunity to showcase their artwork in the annual In Residence exhibition at HCCC. The residency program offers durations of three, six, nine, and 12 months, running from September to August, period of 2024-25.

Houston Center for Contemporary Craft (HCCC), which was founded in 2001, is a nonprofit cultural organization, dedicated to advancing education about the process, product and history of craft. The aim of the organization is to create a diverse, equitable, and inclusive environment that provides access to the resources artists need to realize their creative and community endeavors.
