About Opportunity

The internationally recognized Gallery 4Culture, based in the United States, announced a new opportunity for visual artists, both emerging and established, across the nation. This invitation provides a unique platform for artists to present their diverse artworks, spanning various mediums, in the gallery’s upcoming season, from September 2024 to July 2025. A selection committee is composed of three experienced artists will evaluate the submitted applications. Their focus will be on identifying artists whose proposals demonstrate exceptional conceptual depth and artistic significance, aligning closely with the gallery's overarching vision and values.

Eligibility:

  • Both emerging and professional visual artists individually or in groups/collectives, reside in WA, US can apply for submission 


Project/event location:

  • Washington, US


Participation fee:

  • Participation is free of charge


Award/prize: 

  • Exhibition opportunity in Gallery4Culture

  • Curatorial and PR support

  • Grant for organising exhibition - $1,000 

  • Artworks on sale


Application requirements:

  • Online application form in English

  • Artist statement (max. 300 words)

  • Max. 2 page of artist resume as a PDF file

  • CV (working experience) 

  • Total of 10 digital images of recent work samples

  • Artists are self responsible for delivery, installation and deinstallation of their artworks


The submission closes:

  • 14 December, 2023


Results will be announced: 

  • Early-February, 2024
