Entries Open for the 8th LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize

The internationally recognized LOEWE FOUNDATION announces the eighth edition of the LOEWE FOUNDATION Craft Prize, an award celebrating excellence in craftsmanship, and invites professional artists and craft makers worldwide to participate. Applicants must submit up to five photographs of their work, which should demonstrate artistic intent, originality, and innovation, be handmade or partly handmade, created within the last five years, and not have won any previous prizes. Eligible works should fall within applied arts categories such as ceramics, jewelry, textiles, or furniture. The international selection committee will choose the winner, who will receive a cash prize of €50,000. The shortlisted and winning works will be showcased in an exhibition and accompanying catalogue in Madrid in Spring 2025.

The Loewe Foundation is located in Madrid, Spain. It was established in 1988 by the Spanish luxury fashion house Loewe to promote creativity, education, and heritage in various cultural fields, including arts, literature, dance, and craftsmanship.
The aim of this Prize is to promote the work of talented craftspeople by highlighting their achievements. The LOEWE FOUNDATION seeks to recognize exceptional pieces that demonstrate artistic vision, innovation, and the unique style of their creator.
