About Opportunity
The internationally renowned Newberry Library, based in the United States, announces its 2025 Jan and Frank Cicero Artist-in-Residence Fellowship. This month-long program is open to international artists and performers, including but not limited to painters, sculptors, choreographers, dramaturgs, creative writers, and composers. Applications will be reviewed by an interdisciplinary committee of scholars and artists representing diverse fields. Selected artists will receive a $3,000 stipend and access to the Newberry Library’s archives to support their projects. Fellows are expected to reside at the Newberry for the full duration of their fellowship.
