About Opportunity
The internationally recognized organization Centrum invites emerging visual and interdisciplinary artists from the Pacific Northwest region of Canada to apply for its funded, four-week Artists-in-Residence Program, taking place in October 2025. The Emerging Artist Residency program offers a $1,500 honorarium, studio space, accommodation, group gatherings, studio visits, and engagement with visiting artists and curators, culminating in an open studio event. This program is designed for early-career artists seeking focused time for their practice, along with support from a vibrant community of peers and professionals. An international selection committee will evaluate submissions based on artists’ portfolios and select participants for this opportunity.
