About Opportunity

The internationally recognized Schloss Wiepersdorf invites both local and international artists and writers to apply for its 2026 three-month residency program in Germany. Applicants must submit portfolios and project proposals outlining the work they intend to develop during the residency. The fellowship is available for three-month periods—March to May, June to August, and September to November—with a shorter option available for applicants in the Science category. An international selection committee will award fellowships based on the quality of each applicant’s previous artistic or academic work and the merit of the proposed project. Selected fellows will receive accommodation, board, and financial support to advance their creative or academic endeavors in a historic setting in Brandenburg, Germany.
