Call for Submission: Munich Fashion Award 2025 is accepting applications from European Designers

The internationally recognized Munich Fashion Award, organized by the City of Munich and Kreativ Munich, welcomes applications from European fashion and accessory designers with at least two years of experience in a fashion label. The event will make its debut on May 15–16, 2025, in Munich, Germany, featuring a Red-Carpet Event, Exhibition, and Conference. Applicants are required to submit their portfolios along with approximately 15 contemporary sustainable fashion looks or at least five accessory pieces, such as bags, shoes, or eyewear. The Munich Fashion Award is dedicated to recognizing collections and accessories that successfully merge aesthetics with sustainability in a way that is both innovative and market-driven. To ensure a comprehensive evaluation, an international jury will assess submissions based on three key criteria: design authenticity, which focuses on creativity and aesthetic quality; ecological and social sustainability; and marketing potential. The five highest-scoring designers in each category will be invited to Munich, where they will have the opportunity to present their collections, products, and creative concepts directly to the jury. As part of the event, a fashion show will take place on the evening of May 15, during the Red-Carpet Event and Award Ceremony. This runway presentation will be a key component of the jury’s final evaluation, and winners will be awarded with cash prizes.
