About Opportunity

The internationally recognized Jackson’s Art Prize is accepting submissions from emerging and professional artists worldwide, working in painting, drawing, or printmaking. There are no restrictions on size or theme, and any 2D art medium is eligible. An international jury will select the winners, who will receive cash prizes and the opportunity to showcase their work at the Affordable Art Fair and Bankside Gallery in London, UK. A total of 23 awards are available, including eight Material Awards sponsored by prominent brands, a Student and Amateur Award, the People’s Choice Award, six Judge’s Choice Awards selected by a guest judging panel, five Jackson’s Choice Awards, and the prestigious First Prize chosen by Jackson’s Judging Panel.

About Organizer

Jackson’s Art Prize is the prestigious annual competition for emerging artists around the world. Since its inception in 2016, Jackson’s Painting Prize has celebrated artistic talent within the Jackson’s Art Supplies community, founded in 2000 in London, UK. 
The competition aims to support excellence in fine art by providing a platform for painters, drawers, and printmakers from across the globe to showcase their creative talents.

Eligibility:

  • Both emerging and professional artists, working in painting, drawing, or printmaking, from across the globe can apply for this prize

Participation fee:

  • Artworks submission fee is £6.50 (till 18th February)/ £7(after 18th February)

Award/prize: 

  • First Place prize:

    • Cash prize - £6,000

    • £2,000 Jackson’s art materials

    • Interview and exhibition opportunity at the Affordable Art Fair and Bankside Gallery

  • Judge’s Choice Awards - £1,000 Jackson’s art materials and exhibition at the Affordable Art Fair

  • People’s Choice Award - £1,000 Jackson’s art materials

  • Student Award and Amateur Award - £500 Jackson’s art materials
