About Opportunity

The internationally recognized non-profit organization, Bilpin International Ground for Creative Initiatives (BigCi), is accepting applications from both Australian and international artists working in any medium, including visual art, installation, multimedia, performance, literature, music, photography, filmmaking, and curating, to participate in The BigCi Environmental Awards 2024. Two winners of the awards will each receive a cash prize of $4,000 and will participate in the BigCi Residency Program. Applicants are required to submit a project proposal related to environmental or natural science issues relevant to the residency location. At the end of their residencies, artists will present their work at a BigCi Open Day event.

About Organizer

BigCi is an independent, non-profit residency program located in Bilpin, Australia. It is dedicated to foster artists' professional development and support their creative projects. The program was founded and is managed by Rae Bolotin, a practicing artist, and Yuri Bolotin, an environmentalist and wilderness explorer.
