About Opportunity
The internationally recognized organization Artes Mundi, in partnership with the Bagri Foundation, has announced an open call for emerging and established international visual artists to participate in its 2024 exhibition, honoring the beginning of its 21st anniversary celebration. Artists working in any form of contemporary visual art are welcome to submit their work. The theme of the artworks should be related to the "Human Condition." An independent jury will review all applications and select the winning artists for various nominations to award them with a cash prize.
About Organizer
Since its establishment in 2002, Artes Mundi has served as the primary international visual arts institution for Wales. The Artes Mundi exhibition and prize are complemented by a comprehensive public program, collaborative partnerships, commissions, and community projects.
The organization encourages collaborations with international and local contemporary visual artists whose work explores social realities and personal experiences.
