About Opportunity

The Prince Claus Fund in partnership with the British Council is now accepting applications for the second cycle of its Mentorship Program: Moving Narratives 2. Annually, the organization selects 12 mid-career artists and cultural practitioners from around the globe who are socially and politically engaged. With the guidance of four mentors, participants are encouraged to collaboratively experiment, exchange ideas, and develop artistic strategies that challenge dominant narratives and the inequalities they perpetuate. This year, the program is seeking applications from those involved in experimental, innovative, and interdisciplinary art practices. The selection committee will choose the artists and provide them with accommodation and an artistic grant.

About Organizer

The Prince Claus Fund was founded in 1996 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. The Fund’s mission is to support, and interconnect artists all over the world, especially from regions where cultural expression is under pressure and threat.
Moving Narratives is a cross-disciplinary initiative designed to help artists delve into and enhance their creative processes by reexamining historical legacies and exploring liberation movements. Its mission is to promote collaboration and exchange among participants, support individual artistic endeavors, and facilitate global interactions.
