About Opportunity
The internationally recognized Trieste Photo Days, in collaboration with the Order of Friars Minor – OFM Fraternitas Foundation and co-organized by the Municipality of Assisi, is pleased to present a photographic competition inspired by the Canticle of the Creatures by St. Francis of Assisi. Open to both emerging and professional international photographers, the call invites participants to embrace the spirit of the Canticle by celebrating all creatures through photography. It aims to highlight their beauty and inherent virtue while also drawing attention to the damage caused by human actions when the relationship with nature shifts from harmony to domination. An international selection committee will choose the most compelling works, which will be exhibited at a major international showcase during the 12th edition of Trieste Photo Days, scheduled to take place in Trieste, Italy, from October 24 to 26, 2025.
