About Opportunity

The internationally recognized Discerning Eye is accepting applications and artwork submissions from UK-based artists, including painters and sculptors, for its 2025 exhibition in London. Artists may submit up to six works for consideration by the Selection Panel, with each piece measuring no more than 50 cm, including the frame (all measurements must be in centimeters). The exhibition presents a dynamic combination of publicly submitted works and artworks personally selected by six distinguished figures from across the art world, including artists, collectors, and critics. The exhibition will be held at the Mall Galleries from 14 to 23 November, accompanied by a virtual gallery featuring all shortlisted works, along with commentary and introductions by the selectors. A prize-giving ceremony will take place at the opening, offering participants the chance to win various awards, including the prestigious ING Purchase Prize, valued at £5,000.
