About Opportunity
The international gallery Lee Ufan Arles is launching its new competition for the 2024 Art and Environmental Prize and invites both international and local artists, working in various artistic mediums. The Prize Jury, chaired by Lee Ufan members, the winner of the 2024 art prize, and invited professionals, will select the winning artists based on their CV and experience, the originality of their project, and its relevance to the themes and issues highlighted by the Prize. The aim of the prize is to foster a creative space that connects the work of young designers with that of Lee Ufan. The winner will receive a six- to eight-week support program at the beginning of 2025, which includes a production space and accommodation in Arles, enabling them to develop their artistic project. This residency will conclude in a summer exhibition of the artist's work in one of the Lee Ufan Arles spaces.
About Organizer
The Lee Ufan Arles was created by Korean artist Lee Ufan in 2013 in France. This exhibition venue is both a museum that showcases the artist's historical and recent works and a space for living and supporting artistic and cultural activities.
