About Opportunity

The internationally recognized Art Senses Mentorship Program is accepting applications from artists worldwide whose work explores the sensory dimensions of art, fostering new modes of perception and promoting well-being. Each edition of the program focuses on a distinct theme, guided by a mentor-artist and evaluated by a distinguished jury. The inaugural 2025/26 edition, Sensing the Invisible, is curated by A.A. Murakami, who will also serve as mentor to the selected artist. Applicants are encouraged to submit their project proposals and artist statements, which will be reviewed by a panel of jurors responsible for selecting the three shortlists of candidates. Shortlisted artists will receive both financial and curatorial support, to refine their proposals before the final selection of Art Senses Artist of the Year. The selected artist will be awarded a £10,000 project development grant and a six-month mentorship with A.A. Murakami.
