About Opportunity

The internationally recognized organizations L'AiR Arts and Atelier 11 invite artists and cultural professionals specializing in sculpture and installation from around the world to apply for the fully funded International Arts Research Residency Program in France in 2025. This initiative aims to honor the historical significance of Cité Falguière, the world’s longest-running international residency, which has supported and nurtured artists across three centuries. Based on four core principles—cultural exchange, research, professional development, and contemporary artistic practice—the program fosters cross-cultural collaboration among international artists and cultural professionals within the local art community. Applications are reviewed by a committee of international and Paris-based arts professionals, with residencies awarded through a rigorous selection process. The residency at Atelier 11 offers flexible durations ranging from two weeks to two months, with exact dates coordinated individually based on the project’s needs and availability.

About Organizer

The L’AiR Arts, a not-for-profit organization founded in 2016, is committed to promoting intercultural exchange through international arts residency programs. In collaboration with renowned arts institutions and professionals, these programs support artistic research, professional development, and contemporary creative practices. Additionally, L’AiR Arts advocates for diversity, inclusion, and global understanding by engaging with artistic and cultural heritage.
Since 2021, the organization has been spearheading a cultural heritage project to convert a historic artist studio in Paris into an International Arts Research Residency dedicated to fostering intercultural exchange.
