The foundation hosts four residency seasons annually, each lasting three months. These seasons focus on either ‘open’ independent research or ‘thematic’ collective research centered around a particular topic.

Delfina Foundation residencies provide:

Guided visits to museums, galleries, non-profits, and studios

Opportunities to connect with artists, curators, and researchers through presentations, studio visits, and events

Professional development, including portfolio reviews, mentoring, and critiques to enhance artistic practice
Eligibility:

Both emerging and professional contemporary visual artists, seeking an opportunity to develop their practice through research, from Central Asia countries (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan) can apply for residency program
